Gavi is obtained from Cortese grapes alone, a species of ancient origin that, in Upper Monferrato, in the southern part of the province of Alessandria , gives us the most important of Piedmont 's dry white wines.
Gavi di Gavi is the selection of this wine, produced with grapes grown in Gavi village.
