In our territory Barbera has always been the species of vine par excellence, and it is here that it gives the very best of itself, the best of a great wine.

The vineyards date back to the early 1930s, old shoots ensure a limited production of grapes particularly suited to "traditional-style" vinification.

Species of wine : 100% Barbera
Vine-training system : Guyot
Yield per hectare : 50 quintals on average
Harvest : late

 

 

The "birth" of this wine comes about in fact in wood, and in wood it remains until the bottling stage.

This procedure helps exalts the aromas and perfumes of this great, robust and magnificent wine .

Best serving temperature:
18° - 20°C.

Days of fermentation : 14 to 18, at a controlled temperature
Alcoholic content : 13,5% (vol.)

Organoleptic data

Colour : clear ruby red.
Bouquet : rich, lasting, with a hint of almonds and brushwood.
