Of very ancient origin, it is a species of wine that gives an “imposing wine, always fairly severe but generous and rich in exquisite fragrances, and with a taste that combines strength with subtlety”.

A wine obtained from a selected crop of Barbera grapes grown in the “Fan” vineyard.

Colour : a deep ruby-red colour.
Bouquet : a markedly winy bouquet.
Taste : a dry taste, palatable and robust.

 

Suitable with the savoury dishes of the Piedmont 's cuisine, with red meat and ripe cheeses.

Best serving temperature:
