Grignolino d'Asti

Quite a special wine, right from its birth: the must obtained from the soft pressing of Grignolino grapes grown in the Scarrone vineyard is fermented, in the absence of the mare, in small, new wooden casks for a good six months, under temperature-controlled conditions and with checks being carried out periodically, without the wine ever being decanted, though, if not in late March / early openl.

After being decanted, the wine is put back into the small casks, which have been carefully washed out, and left there for another 6 – 8 months, then it is bottled and, after being stored in a quite place for a further six months, is finally put on sale. The production is very limited. Excellent with hot hors d'oeuvres, white meat and seafood.

Organoleptic data

Colour : Tenuous and very clear cherry-red.
Bouquet : Winy, intense, fruity an lasting.
Taste : Highly characteristic, dry, justly tannic,
